Since the Day and Above the Weeping will always be tops for me, and I still listen to both of those frequently. This is growing on me, though...

The second track and Lose to Night are sweet, but the rest of the record is kind of monotone despite having some great
moments. Probably a 3.5 sometimes I think it's a 4, but then I get bored so 3.5

Not even close to the quality of their previous record. Monotone, boring powerchord filled songs with no real "unpredictability". Some good moments, but that's about it.

Yeah I'm afraid this is gonna bore me. I loved how they changed up their sound on One for Sorrow, what I've heard from this sounds like they lost the tenacity they achieved with that album.

This album is a grower. At first it seems stale but you have to listen to it several times and let it sink in. The melodies and lyrics hit really hard for me.

I've just heard the title track and dammit, is it good. Almost "Countless Skies" level of awesomeness. I'm definitely checking the album out

hahaha come on now. not even close imo

The title track is quite possibly the most mundane song on the album, such a flat, disappointing end to proceedings.
|

Agreed.
I like this way more than I thought I would, but that track sucks.

I like the album so far, listened it in one go for the first time. I'll listen to it more.
