Never been real big on Freddie, but I think he shines here quite a bit. Madlib is always on point.

This is so far the best rap album I've heard this year. Then again, it's only been three months.
Nevertheless, Freddie Gibbs and Madlib make a fantastic team. I didn't expect much but Gibbs impressed the hell out of me.
My favorites off the album are Bomb, Shitsville, High, Robes, Real, and Pinata (at least everything before Mac Miller's verse)

"My uncles last bitch put him on the glass dick. He tried to rob a man to feed his habit but he got blasted. I live on borrowed time, my expiration date, I passed it. So lock me up forever but this shit is everlasting."
Lots of gangster bravado in here. If you listen for it, Gibbs has something more to say sometimes. Time will tell if there is enough in here to keep me coming back.
