Hopefully a metalcore one and not a southern/blues/noise/jam/whatever one

I was referring to '68, didn't really dig their debut LP. The Chariot was rad though.

'68's debut is sweet, definitely excited for album #2

but I greatly miss The Chariot, though I do think the band called it a day at the right moment and accomplished all they could, another album would have been cool but One Wing feels more and more like a final album

I mean 68' seemed like a fairly great outing in noise rock for me. It was sort of like Jesus Lizard if Josh Scogin decided to do it instead. The Chariot were awesome for what they were, but I don't really need more of that sound or anything.

'68 is Josh Scogin's current band after The Chariot disbanded, it's just him on guitar and vocals and another guy on drums. They play a southern-esque form of noise rock with some grunge, it's pretty fun but not anything really astounding. They're fun live though, you should check it

Another great few releases with some metalcore to it would be Ni - Les Insurges de Romily and Zygoma - The Forgotten
