i just cant imagine rating this 1.5 when u obviously love la dispute and to the beat of a dead horse. this is just more of the same just more consistent and thought out. i would love to hear what u hate about this album.

so you wanna tell me the other two "albums" are better? They are more a collection of songs than a whole rounded up album. This is light-years ahead of the nowhere going "Parting the sea between brightness and me". Just take the amazing climax of "Is Survived By", the title track. Something like that u can't find on any other album.

s/t, dead horse and parting are furious, full of anger, rage, madness, quick and to the point. at least half the songs were fucking awful but at least they were over before you'd realize what bullshit you just listened to.

this is just one giant snooze fest.

I disagree, Parting the Sea at least was a real album: it's just the content wasn't as awesome as this.

s/t, dead horse and parting are furious, full of anger, rage, madness, quick and to the point.

This is probably the biggest factor that separates Is Survived By from the rest of Touche's discog: the others relied significantly on rage to keep the album going, while this is more a thoroughly composed record.

Why don't any of you like the first song? Probably one my favs from the album. I've listen to this about 5 times and can't make up my mind on it.
