I know plenty about country to say I hate the entire genre. This stems from the fact that no matter what song you play for me, new or old, I won't like it. End of story.
Well, then you've guaranteed yourself that no matter how good the music put in front of you us, you've already decided to hate it before the first note is even struck. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

you're basing everything you say off of the assumption that the only country that i have heard is from the radio. When i said that country is more popular than rap, i mean that we have hundreds of cowboys up here who blast their absolutely horrid country music up and down the street. My mom has a huge collection of country albums, i hear them whenever she decides to clean the house. My dad refuses to listen to new country, so i have heard plenty of old country songs as well.
Do not criticize me for hating a genre that i've heard enough from to hate. I might not know the names of the bands, but i surely enough am rather well educated on the genre. You jump to conclusions way too quickly for your own good, so back off.

I was listening to this, and Brandon Saller should quit and start another band where he is the front man. He's a good vocalist, I think he does some backing screaming on the first song, which is better than their lead singer's.

Yeah he is easily the best member in the band. I personally dont like his vocals too much, but they are sky high above alex's.

I'm sure I could find something nice to say about the bassist if I could just hear him. The guitarists are decent when they're not doing those generic open-E riffs. Brandon could be a decent vocalist if he works at it. Alex, though... fuck, somebody just kick him in the throat and get it over with. Everytime he tries to transition from his sub-par clean vocals to harsh vocals I just want to take a cheesegrater to his face.

The bassist has an awesome growl listen to "her portrait in black"he does the backups.He has a lot of energy and the bass is decent and complements the guitar.

the quality of the band qould greatly heighten if they just get rid of the lead singer and let the drummer do the singing.
and push the guitar mix up a little.
