Saw them only once on a new material tour sadly, but it was a great show and considering my first album of theirs was AMOLAD, and I love their entire post-2000 output, I had a blast. The Maiden England tour is my favourite though and saw it once last year and 9 times in Europe this year.

I know you're not against different music, I'm just saying you should really try to like... idk. I used to like bands like this. A lot. But something changed, I don't wanna say my tastes evolved because music taste is subjective, but I find myself enjoying a lot more music than I used to

Wish I could travel to see bands... but like I said I'm probably a lot younger than you! I know no one here would agree but I'd love to travel and see Avenged and Five Finger Death Punch as well as Bullet For My Valentine

I suggest you slowly grow into a few other genres. From A7X, my pie chart on my profile went from just prog metal in the beginning to about 10 different genres.

RockFan it's worth the effort, I guarantee you. I spent a year saving for it but it paid off in a bigger way than I'd have imagined,

" my tastes are probably more broad then my profile or what I've said here would show."

Also I've reviewed Death Metal, and Pop music. I really don't limit myself to one genre.

True there. I've even reviewed classical music. (What, Nightmare likes CLASSICAL MUSIC?)

I'm open to different metal, but the other thing is, is that my brother listens to mainstream and country.... sad, I know. But and my friends don't really listen to music like me, they don't play it and just aren't that passionate towards it like I am, except my one buddy who I jam with but his tastes are similar to mine, usually just hard rock/ rock with some metal thrown in although I'm more of the metal listener. So the problem is is that I'm not exposed to it and honestly I kind of like where I'm at and don't want to lose my mainly rock roots

Haha, like I said Moonchild, I apologize for my earlier comments and don't think you're narrow minded. I wont hate, I'm sure he'll entertain in one way or another if you don't like the music or whatever haha
