Well maybe he didn't exactly own the sports team. But my point still stands. If he's unable to rap about anything interesting that happened to him or actually bothered him, he maybe should just shut the fuck up. Because simply bragging about being rich and famous is something he pretty much covered in his disco (ahem... watch the throne) It's not like he needs more money, his hedge fonds probably got that covered.
I always kinda liked jay-z's stuff because, he seemed like a smart guy who actually had something to say. But his last few outings have been terrible, be it on Watch the throne, on JT's album or else. And this album is just uninspired, boring bullshit.
