I still need to hear Strays and Escape. I used to be put off by the apparent souring of reception, despite already knowing and enjoying a few songs from Strays; I realize now how silly that line of thinking was, especially considering how many albums I've since come to love are considered amongst the weakest in their respective artists' discographies.

I recently heard an isolated vocal track from that night and he definitely sounded like his voice had completely given out. Pretty sure they’d been turning his vocals down low to mask it too. I know he’s never been a properly trained vocalist but he’s always been one of the more idiosyncratic voices in the genre imo. shame to see it end that way. This, nothings shocking, and that first porno for Pyros album will always be crucial
