"tox bro there are so many download links around YAAARRRRR"
yea tommy but I'm on campus and they're pretty bitchy about DLing
idk it's just not enough of a priority, esp. considering I'm going home in less than a week and can DL it w/o university getting pissy.
Also yea don't wanna bring the discussion back to Fantasy but tommy nailed it. I didn't listen to the album enough to speak definitively about the production per se but rather the mastering which fucks up the sound quality.

As long as you don't use torrents or p2p programs you should be fine. I download shit all the time on campus and have never once caught shit for it, and my university is supposedly pissy about it too.
But I understand your reluctance.

Well yeah if it really mattered I could probably tether my connection from my phone and download that (unlimited data and Verizon doesn't really start throttling until like 2 GB ish) but what I'm trying to say is this isn't worth the effort. I'm paying good money for Spotify so it'd be nice if it were there. I'm assuming that iTunes is paying him for the exclusivity though
|
| |
yeah, i downloaded all the time on university internet when i was in undergrad
the type of job i'm looking into after grad school prohibits you from downloading stuff illegally, and they give you a polygraph about it to see if you've downloaded anything since learning about the prohibition, so no downloading for me anymore
|

do universities track how much you download?
|

i'm sure every university is different, but mine didn't

Heh, I just figured out how to do that with my phone too. Except the phone isn't supposed to be able to do that.
I can't do much with it though until I pay for the full version of the program I'm using but it's only $10.

If you're talking cheap then I imagine you mean the K67. The 167s are $250 list price.
Not bad though, can't really go wrong with AKG. Looks like yours cost about what my first Sennheiser's did. You should look into getting an amplifier eventually, it might help.

You have to use an app to tether your connection? It comes with most Android phones afaik. You're supposed to pay your provider but fuck Verizon, I rooted my phone so I do it for free.

It's in every andriod, but unless you pay your service provider specifically for that option it won't show up in the menu screen. So the app circumvents that and allows me to do it without paying my service provider. The free version works but I can't access https coded sites, so I really only use it for sputnik and facebook and youtube right now. But the full version allows free reign and it's only a one time payment. Pretty worth it I think. And I have one of those trackphone companies so I doubt they're going to give a shit about me using data to get internet on my computer.
