please tell me you understand the difference between someone who is actually English (as in: born there) and me (claiming it).



and I didn't mean to let on that I hate English people on an individual level (I though I was clear on this) but rather I dislike the general mentality of their society in the almost the same way as most of us hate the American mentality. most of my close friends are British (lol look at me, playing that card) but generally, yeah, British people can go suck a dick.

Couple of things:
1. There is no "German accent".
2. "German accents" are mostly either poor pronounciation (and/or bad grammar) or regional German accents reinforced if people never learned to speak proper German either.
3. I've had confrontations with English for over 10 years so go figure.

Yeah, but I didn't think people who speak Dutch had that much of an accent. I mean a lot of strong accents are mostly from Romanic or slavic countries.

Then again, I never heard anyone with Dutch as his mother tongue speak English.

Yeah, Scandinavians (apart from the Finnish - probably because their language has a different heritage) are pretty damn good at English.

Germans can be too if they're talented with languages but seemingly not a lot are.
