TBoLA's best moments are better than this album's, but this album's worst moments are better than TBoLA's
S/T is perfect

This grooves so hard, Zack is so pissed and the drums are so tight and the bass keeps going and Morello just gives dweedles all day long

Artuma, TBoLA is like their least consistent album
The first six tracks are fucking orgasmic
then Born As Ghosts comes and that's their worst song ever
then Maria is Zack's best performance ever
and Voice of the Voiceless/New Millennium Homes are pretty good but nothing amazing

"The first six tracks are fucking orgasmic"
yes.
"then Born As Ghosts comes and that's their worst song ever"
not a bad song but yeah kinda average one
"then Maria is Zack's best performance ever"
one of the best agreed
"and Voice of the Voiceless/New Millennium Homes are pretty good but nothing amazing"
wrong, they both rule
and then you forgot ashes in the fall and war within a breath which are both superb so how does it equal "their least consistent album?" this has some of their best songs like bulls on parade and boomerang but then again songs like snakecharmer and without a face which are pffft meh

I insist that this is their weakest album they tried a different approach and Zack tried to be more creative and clever writing lyrics but when it comes to music is really awful compared to what they made in the self titled album of TBoLA

Is this album a parody?
The music is plain bad. The band have been doing the same thing forever. Lame guitar riffs, an attempt at funky bass lines, terrible solos (if you can call them that), and laughable lyrics.
Vocalist Zack Rocha is one big joke. No one wants to listen to your angry generic political spew dude. Atrocious vocal performance, especially when he continues to do those wimpy whispering vocals.
Weak album made for angry white California kids.
