I like it, but I think the lyrics meets your pov:

Kinda interesting that taken out of context, those lyrics absolutely do seem aimed at the people hating on the song.

least that actually sounds like grind and wasn't that bad tbh. In fact, I thought that song was pretty good.

I liked both songs tbh.



Main issue I have is the drums sound so flat and plastic.

Drums are definitely weak and production aside, I think Jarvis is a very poor replacement for Harvey. His style just doesn't compliment Hull's riffage the way Harvey's did.

Interestingly enough, looking at the song lengths on Head Cage put a huge smile on my face. Half the tracks aren’t even two minutes long... hopefully they go all out and grind my ears to oblivion with no filler
