Labels are definitely good for physical presence, but whether or not the hassle of dealing with a label is worth the physical presence is the question. I suppose smaller labels know what's up and support their bands much better than larger labels though. And has been stated earlier, labels like Basick and Sumerian seem to be doing a pretty good job.

Title track is sooo good. Probably the only song I listen to off this on a regular basis.

Hopefully the followups better (if there's ever going to be one), seeing them live with Chris Barretto and another guitarist was pretty great

From what I hear about the band they needed a second guitarist. Also, Baretto's sax + Al Mumin's sitar/koto/whatever ethnic instrument he takes up next could be amazing. Let's just hope Al Mumin doesn't threaten to burn down Baretto's house or something...

Chris Barretto's too good for that Al Mumin guy. He shouldn't even bother with The Heerp Mercheene.

Misha's Jewish, parents from Mauritias. I'm sure there's plenty of muslims/desis in the djent scene though.

Mansoor is an Urdu word. He's more than likely a Muslim of Indian descent, unless his parents/he converted to Judaism at some point.

Well he's confirmed that he's Jewish, but yes I know someone in Pakistan named mansoor so he may just be trolling hard
