Ya know I think I realized why this album wasn't clicking with me, and it's because I had a preconceived notion about the type of album it was supposed to be, and I was thrown off when it didn't match my expectations. This is not a "typical" 2000s post hardcore album at all, and once I realized that my enjoyment skyrocketed.

like I went into this initially expecting another Senses Fail or Silverstein type band, when in reality it is a completely different beast and not in that same category at all.



Still not ready to give it a rating as I haven't listened to it front to back yet, but it's a 3.5 minimum based on the first half.
