If you are a huge fan of Michael Keene's guitar/solo work on this album what other bands would you suggest?

@jacob
Fallujah, band basically is identical to The Faceless, but Fallujah far outplayed the faceless on everything they'll ever do with their last album.

@Evreaia thanks for the suggestion. They are phenomenal. This is exactly what I had in mind for my next progressive death metal band to get into, I just didn't know enough about the genre because this is the first cd that made me love it. Great suggestion my man.

Great review. I think you could have mentioned Lyle Cooper at some point. He is one of the best metal drummers out there and he does a great job on this album.

The trinity at the start of the album blows me away. I wish the last half of the album carried the same weight. Still a solid album. Hope they don't wait another 4 years.

Just realized that I'm glad Keene went after his love of opeth/townsend versus trying to jump on a certain meshuggah band wagon
