Yeah I'm not huge on Man/Woman, that's prob the most in-your-face, agressively metallic thing here.

Listening to this thing in the right (or is it wrong?) mood, almost makes you wanna blow your head off

Mission accomplished, I guess

things get a little more bittersweet if you explore the rest of the jesu discog - like simultaneously hopeful and hopeless

but this is pretty much just hopeless

yeh Demixed is dope. Farewell off of WAWNP is a god damned classic. he also did Greymachine w/ Aaron Turner and the other dude from Godflesh which is a lil harsher.

really tough to say, the guy has been involved in many projects and a lot of them have decent sized discogs (Godflesh, jesu, Final, JK Flesh, Techno Animal, Greymachine, God, Ice, Napalm Death, Sun Kil Moon and the list goes on)

you're in this thread so why not start right here?

as for Godflesh, the typical cliche answer you're likely to get is Streetcleaner since it's garnered the most attention and critical acclaim - unfair to their other albums

but if you like your existential angst, nihilism, misanthropy, soul crushing and abrasive riffs, dissonance, repetition, monolithic songs etc etc you might just wanna just head straight for Godflesh

also, if you're a fan of Man/Woman off of this album, head straight for Godflesh

I'd say you can find drone influence spattered throughout a lot of his stuff to various extents - he really loves to let his guitar and vocal tones draw out

or I guess what I mean to say is drone aesthetics
