yeah i am. it's turned more into a doom project if anything. worship/loss kind of stuff. the vox im doing for that though is just low death growls. I'm also playing guitar in a grind/hxc band called The Jean Claude Van Damned. we're recording a demo in a couple of weeks.

oh yeah those aren't too hard on your throat. i can do fry alright if i'm cupping the mic. it sounds really cool that way, but otherwise it's hard to get a lot of power in your vocals with fry. what is your role in the grind/hardcore band?

that's cool, i'll have to check it out when you're done with the demo. i'm recording a demo right now
for a screamo/indie/post-hardcore hybrid thing but i don't have any other members yet (or at least not
ones that aren't flaky as hell) so i'm just writing and recording everything myself and programming
drums which is difficult considering i have no knowledge of the instrument beyond just listening to
a lot of music. it's been the hardest part of the whole thing so far, i was playing with a drummer for
a while but it's hard to find people that are committed enough to being in a band.
