Ha, idk man, I saw the offering and couldn't resist. I'm a nerd I know. Plus it's my first term so I thought it'd be nice to have a lower stress class to start things off.

Honestly of late I'm thinking Desolation Row might actually have supplanted Let Down as my favorite song ever.

It's a very pretty song, yeah
Hard to choose a favorite when Subterranean Homesick Blues, Bob Dylan's 115th Dream, Mr. Tambourine Man, It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding), and It's All Over Now, Baby Blue are all on here

i know what you mean Piglet but i'd say Highway 61 is on a pretty similar wavelength, considering they were kind of made in the same burst of inspiration. always went for this one a bit more tho just because it's got a little more variation.
btw i highly rec Scorsese's doc No Direction Home if anyone hasn't seen it, it really shows you a looot about this early stage of his career; from Dylan's perspective and most of the people in his crew too. i kind of hear this album and Highway 61 in a whole new way now tbh

I have only been in awe of this, really from Freewheelin through John Wesley Harding, no better run ever for any reason any genre, even Sabbath, yes I said that even Sabbath
and the Scorsese doc is sweet, as is dont look back
