Good review. I do have to disagree with you about The Whip Hand, I love it as an opener and is probably in my top three favorite songs for the album. Lapochka is a pretty weak track, but it's the only song on the album I dislike.

the middle part of vedamalady is like nothing i expected from the mars volta

same with the anthony green esque ending of in absentia

See with big releases like this you get alot of guys rating it who dont even like the band or this type of music but they feel

their opinion matters. Alot of posters who have that amazing frog metal band Demilich fived have oned this. I just

listened and that album is the biggest piece of smelly feces Ive ever heard, and I would know cuz I crap my pants on the
