Yeah I think between the Painful Splits stuff and the Song Shop project Max's approach to writing music has changed completely. I feel like he doesn't obsess over the material the way he used to, he just kind of half asses it. On this album at least.

And I just can't believe the album is horrible after disagreeing with so many other reviews and ratings around here. I'll reserve judgement until I get to listen to the album.
