Agreed hard. It would be cool if they did another split with Ash Borer.

Kinda reminds me of a more metal Circle of Ouroboros

I don't get a Circle of Ouroboros vibe at all tbh.

To each his own.
For me it's the vox and production that remind me of them. Generally the distant and muddier rather than harsh tone too.

Interesting. I don't really get a Circle of Ouroborus vibe either.
They do rule though.

Yeah it's not a negative comment. And I realistically don't have a robust enough BM palate to make real assertions about the music, but it's something that came to me while listening.

Yeah, I knew it was negative. Did any specific Circle Of Ouroborus jams come to mind? Or just their style overall. I would be interested in listening to whatever track you feel merits that comparison. .

I think it's more the feeling of space than anything. To me, BM is often a claustrophobic genre, but both this and Circle seem to have a very...I dunno, I hesitate to say a "spacious" sound. But something like that.

Time to jam this again it's been a while. m/

split is nuts
band has some dope stuff, split with borer is one of the best us black metal releases imo, each song by each band could be the best song from each band tbh especially the fell voices track. that one is crazy
