"Yea because them newbies Metallica still buildin reputation!....lol."
No. My point is as follows:
Since 1996 (where I started off in my review), Metallica have released four original LPs, one covers double album and a live album and have toured extensively and near-continuously.
In the same time span, Reed has released two definite original LPs (Set The Twilight Reeling & Ecstasy), one daft concept album about Edgar Allen Poe and three live albums, one just completely rehashing his past work (The Creation of the Universe) and hasn't toured as much as Metallica.
Therefore, in my opinion, Metallica are a band that are still putting themselves out there and despite their many millions, perhaps still feel as if they have a point to prove. This bring us full circle to my original comment. THE END.

"is there a reason to hear this"
The Lulz

Are there any positives? “The View” is perhaps the best track on the record. Reed delivers his lines with some conviction and the instrumentation is halfway inventive, particularly in the latter part of the song. The work is immediately undone by Hetfield’s repeated insistence that he is indeed “the table” (coming to a meme near you very soon, no doubt). There are times when the music kicks up a notch. “Dragon” bears some form of promise, but the same riff is hammered out again and again and again. Reed spends the entirety of “Dragon” telling us how he’s “oblivious to caring.” Yeah, we know that feeling, Lou.
Hahahaha, review made my day. I can only imagine how lol the record is. Guess I need to hear this..

I like Metallica very much.
I like Lou Reed very much.
This I do not like very much.
Good review.
This comment is not a poem.

Conor why are you giving one of the worst albums of all time a 2
|
| |
Lou Reed is actually retarded.
|
| |
It's sad because the music is actually not that bad, Lou Reed just shits all over it. It's like the threw recording of an old man with night terrors over it.

He's managed to verbally hit the nail on the head of many women I have been with.
Valerius, as usual, bringing the lulz. (You do know that the lyrics are from the perspective of a prostitute? No wonder you seem so angry all the time, if those are the "many women" you've been with.)

"You think i'm a table you can just rest your fuckin' feet on?"
"I am the table!"

If Lou Reed would just stop talking I could somewhat enjoy this.
