Yeah, I'd say it has a bit. Some chuggy moments, but overall songwriting is far from deathcore.

I guess I can see it. Maybe I didn't because I generally dislike deathcore haha.

So many nostalgic feels for this album. Uroboros is their finest work, but damn this is close.

Album rules. Still not seeing the "lack of cohesion" thing people have mentioned.

Some parts seem disjointed, but I think that just adds to the appeal considering the chaotic nature of the album.

Only a few parts, songwriting is so loose that it takes a few listens to realise it isn't just meandering.

I actually think Arche lacks more cohesion that this tbh.

Arche is definately more cohesive in my opinion since it's less ambitious from a songwriting perpective. Giving this another spin, can't get enough.

Maybe cuz Arche mixes more of their styles, while this is focused on the utmost darkness. For all the variety of Arche, I'm quite content with how it flows.

Arche definately has more of a sonic palette but this is more ambitious, the songwriting for this is so loose while Arche has a set atmosphere or fixed groove.

From 3 to 4.5. Do it!

Used to be my fav DEG, then Arche came. Still, I like the atmosphere on this one the most.

I like both, but the original one with the bamboo trees is where it gets me.

I just think the style of this album is off the wall insane, it's genius.

It's close to being my fave. But Uroboros is just perfect in every single way to me.

Uroboros is almost on par with this. Should jam it again at some point.
