Look Back in Anger is maybe a top 5 Bowie song for me. Fantastic Voyage, Red Sails, DJ and Red Money are some of his best

WHEN YOURE A BOY

I have a soft spot for boys keep swinging because it was Jared’s first karaoke song but in absolutely no other regard. One of countless Bowie Ls

greatest musical icon of the 20th century yeah agreed
|
| |
idk hate his voice and songwriting always very canned and all of it dated sounding to me. But it’s really inexplicable how few of his songs I like so I’ll take the heat

Bowie has a few career Ls for sure but this is most definitely not one of them, are you sure you listened to the right album?

Good top f… our
Low, Station is definitely my top 2. This is certainly top 5, not sure if I’d maybe have Aladdin Sane over it now. Perhaps.

early 70s bowie still sorta eludes me. i like hunky dory, ziggy, and aladdin a decent bit but i like everything from diamond dogs to scary monsters a lot more

Most of his ‘classic era’ stuff is actually very good, but it doesn’t speak to me in the way his reputation suggests it might do. That’s why I have almost all Bowie at ceiling of 3.5 with the exception of those aforementioned two albums. Low is special. Station is too, at times.

buddhist of suburbia or whatever its called is an underrated gem, its like a cross between low and outside. didn't check it for the longest time because of the "soundtrack" label and i regret it

Only 90s Bowie I know is Outside and I find is eh
Where do I go next with him, I've heard all of the 60s/70s/80s/10s stuff, but none of the 90s/00s stuff except Outside
