"the vinyl is still being pressed, don't know what all this hand numbered nonsense is about.

the more i listen to this, the more i like dhow better. in fact, this almost bores me now..."

could've sworn most everyone who'd ordered the vinyl had gotten it by now....and the first 100 were to be hand numbered. pretty sure only 300 are going to be printed period.

Journey to the Plains is awesome, some other parts are cheesy but not enough to be a detriment, imo. Album is too long, pretty sparse in some places too (Bastien's Angels- not sure what's up with that track).

All in all, pretty cool album and even though it's not super different I would agree with the "fresh air" claim.

Yeah, there are some really stellar tracks on here, then some that are definitely just meh. It's still a really quality release, and probably one of the better ones in the post-rock/post-metal/post-whatever scene this year, in my opinion. But, it could benefit from a bit more of a focused atmosphere.

Cool, gracias haha. I still hate this review, it was by far my worst until I rewrote it... And even then it's not my best haha. But, oh well.

Lol I'm srs. I decided that it was awesome, but I don't listen to it enough, or have the drive to listen to it enough, for it to be a 5.

but it's not superb! :[ it's too long and drawn out and too much filler to be a 4.5 :]

I think it's definitely 4.5 worthy. It just grew off of me a tad. I might get into it again, though.

Lol, I was listening to that at the exact moment I read that comment lol.

Gonna bump this back to a 4.5... I just hadn't listened to it in so long that I forgot how great it was.

Yeah, there's some filler, if there wasn't I would give it 4.5 myself, but as it stands it's certainly in my top 10.

i hate how a lot of the time, right after a really awesome part finishes, the band just kinda sits around and doesn't really know what do for a while..
