They're the best recent pop punk I've listened to, and I appear to be backed up by critical consensus.

ALL HAIL THE NORTHEAST.

yeah after hearing a few songs off this it really just seems like annoying, generic pop punk but i hear this band is a huge grower. hear their lyrics are amazing but i didnt pay attention to em

okay, that aside the actual music just sounds like trite pop punk music, nothing special at all from what I heard. Never given a full listen to one of their albums but i what i heard was bland and kind of annoying

okay, I didnt say any of that didnt exist- I specifically said I didnt pay attention to the lyrics but

from what I heard of the actual music its just average pop punk with kinda gay vocals. i mean i love

me some whiny emo vocals but his were kind of annoying. despite any message or any scene with which

they associate themselves i did not finding any reason to get back their music, but ill try again

Excerpted from Soupy's poetry book, Paper Boats or Some Poems I Wrote.

"Sad Sack of Shit", by Dan Campbell:
We are the blues: faces painted
in low light on a canvas of shitty
apartment floors and foreign bedrooms
where I've been up all night trying to
decide whether or not I'm still alive,
or if that sound upstairs is someone
making love or someone getting raped,
or if Van Gogh's Starry Night is sad
because he meant it to be sad
or because I want it to be sad. Please,
tell me it's his fault and not mine.
