I don't think illmitch and I could have more different tastes in rap but this is so true.

At first I thought the comments from the low rating people were annoying, then I actually listened to the album and realized they were completely right. I think only people who normally don't listen to rap are going "oh my god this is totally revolutionary". It's not even really loud and bothersome, it sounds to me like he's on the other side of a hallway yelling. The dudes from MOP sound like they're right up against the mic not to mention have some tonality to their voices still (read: actually good).

Apparently this is more grating then you are giving it credit for, considering it gets on your nerves.

Also, liking this doesn't mean we can't appreciate good hip hop. For example, Mobb Deep and Brotha Lynch Hung are way more hardcore than Death Grips, lyrically, I just love the raw and abrasive production for the album. It surprisingly meshes nicely with the yell/rap delivery. Oh and the lyrics are pretty fucking awesome too, problem is that they are sometimes hard to discern.
