Yeah, bdm definitely isn't easy to get into lol. Took me a while to warm up to it. Same with tech death, I'm still kinda picky with that kind of stuff though.

Lol Gorgasm. Their name kills me. But yeah that album is sick, Destined to Violate rips too.
I feel you on the gore themes though. Sometimes I don't mind it, but the gore shit can def be kind of off-putting and cheesy sometimes. One of the reasons I don't listen to CC much.

Yeah, nothing about their music ever stood out to me. Pretty much how you described it. Add in the constant gore themes and the fact that they basically just keep remaking the same album, it just gives me no desire to listen to them.
I mean, I could look past the gore stuff if their music was good enough. As they are, they kind of just give me a headache lol

I think the problem with CC is that they've got a big discog and a lot of it sounds the same. Still, grooves hard, I can chuck on any (probably, I haven't heard all of it yet) of their albums and enjoy it the whole way through. A lot of their newer stuff is catchy af for dm

Looks like Solstice is finally done with their new record, or close to. No release date yet but they released the t/t for it last month. Far from groundbreaking but sounds a lot more like this or Pray than To Dust.

They've been pretty vague about it. Only found that because they posted on FB looking for a graphic artist and that link was the next post down.
They also said they'd put out a tracklist and pre-order info for a limited edition, so hopefully they'll give an update soon.
