For some reason I just don't really enjoy this cd very much. I've listened to it a couple times through and it's not doing anything for me. Theres nothing that stands out, nothing memorable. They'll never top Versus the World but I really enjoyed their last cd before this one. Maybe if I keep listening to it it will start doing something for me.

Although this record is pretty much the same thing Amon Amarth has released before, it's not a bad thing at all. You know what to expect, and you're prepared for it. People who expect something different should E-Mail the band and complain to them that their music is getting boring because they stick to what works for them. I can assure you they'll simple laugh in your face for it.
In short, this record is a fantastic LP from start to finish. The cover of Aerials was also a nice surprise. Oh, look at that, Amon Amarth did something new. Everyone praise originality!
