So its insane more people see a review than look at individual ratings for a band. So you just go look at a review and spend your time checking out what everyone gave it...Totally insane to have logic my bad

I don't write for a collective, I write for me. I can't think other people's thoughts, I can only think my own. I wrote this based off of what I hear. That's the point of reviewing. Also SOAD kinda suck. That too is my opinion. That's they joy of opinions. Everyone has them and the all differ.

'3.5' is a rating that means 'great' - i'm pretty sure he likes it, just not as much as nearly everybody else. He doesn't necessarily need to write a review to voice his opinions more than anyone else, its just that there is going to be a LOT of '5' and '4.5' reviews soon - there won't be many '3.5's.
By the way, when can us normal people post reviews for this? Mine is about 99% finished - just a little bit of editing left to do...Do we have to wait 'til Monday?

What??? Ratings give a simple idea of how popular an album is, and a vague sense of what individuals think of it. A review is an opinion fleshed out, it allows the writer to share his/her ideas about a record. What else can they do but write their own opinion? But seriously, what????

seriously, 3.5 means great. look at the rating scale. jesus christ there are some serious tards out there. if i didnt like this I would have given it a 2.

I don't know if I'm missing something, but Defeater just sounds like midtempo mush to me. Not bad, but not good. Just bland and pretty boring. There's certainly a LOT better hardcore out there.
