Playing this album when you're sad or stressed out or whatever you happen to be going through just really does something to you. That may sound pretentious but it really does take you away from it all. I'm feeling it right now, and it's strangely calming.

Album is so great! An album composed entirely of samples, scratches, and drum loops. Who could have known that an album of this composure would have this much soul and would mean this much to people! DJ Shadow revolutionized the way turntables were presented on a record. In a way that was never matched before, and will never be matched ever again. Some brilliant and innovative work here! Absolutely blew me away the first time I heard it!
