Bands like this, who create good music, especially on just a debut, deserve to be hyped on the sput hype train, I'd say, if I wasn't bored and waiting for my buddy to come pick me up I probably wouldn't have clicked on the review, until I saw it in the top 10, then I woulda been a little more curious. So..for someone like me it's kinda nice when things get hyped.

I agree that hype can be good, but too much can cause backlash too. I don't think it's too excessive (it hasn't reached Kanye levels yet), though.

A lot of users here are opinionated. It's the nature of the site. People who are apathetic about the music they listen to aren't going to spend even five minutes wasting their time talking about it online. What that means is that the people here are all probably at least semi-passionate about their music and tempers will flair. Good thing it's the internet ;)

I enjoyed the albums length immensely and found "Marasm" to be better than "Glances I & II." "Nicholas" is shaping up to be my favorite track, though "A New Aurora" might surpass it in a few listens.
