Album is meh. But it makes me sing along and I never do that so I guess it accomplished something.

Well, I thought the album was great. For me it's tied with The Black Parade. I find it funny how nobody on this site seems to have their own opinion. They all follow what the reviewer says. I think Thrice is great, but this album is also great. It's not back to basics, it's the band trying something new. It's fun music.

Album sucks. I was decently ok with it when it came out but it has no replay value at all. Not going to bother to change my review though.

Four years after their breakthrough LP, MCR return with a reinvention that appears to take cues from 30 Seconds To Mars... If a much more fun version. Predominantly containing slick, energetic & easily digestible cuts that should be a hoot live, the almost glam-rock leaning 'Danger Days...' kicks off at a break-neck pace with one huge anthemic chorus after another. Unfortunately, the album's 2nd half buckles under a lack of depth & it all comes off as too repetitive & inconsistent to match the quality of 'The Black Parade'. Turn it up, don't think too hard & you should still enjoy it though. Recommended Tracks: Na Na Na, Sing, Party Poison & Bulletproof Heart.

Having finally listened to this, I can say that Chan's analysis is spot-on. Lazy, indeed.
