Yeah I think it's Barlow too and Dante's Inferno. Maybe it's more accessible also but I don't get the love it gets compared to this one either.

Burnt Offerings rules beginning to end. I love Greely, but Barlow was more versatile. Maybe he didn't have that classic thrash vibe, but he could do all sorts of styles. Also the first two Iced Earth albums had pretty limited releases since Iced Earth wasn't popular at all during '90-'92

Ye, the riffs are pure fucking thrash agreed.
This and Burnt Offerings are both amazing and full of fist but I think this one edges it, gonna spin again and see if a bump is in order!

burnt is more traditional metal/power metal record its still kinda thrashy but nowhere near as this. the debut is thrash as fuck its just nowhere near as well written as this
