in 23? years of knowing and jamming this band i can't think of a single time i saw or heard negative sentiment. black metal dorks just don't talk about OMC often, but the only talk is praise. first album is elite medieval darkness
most hated bands in this genre are obviously going to be the nsbm adjacent stuff now but couple decades ago would have for sure been the extra cheese options like naglfar or cradle. or yeah even dimmu when shagrath chopped his hair in the mid 2000s and they just took the campiness too far into self parody
