I'm listening to this now I don't think it is bad at all. Wtf. Why is the rating so low.

Learning to Fly is so good.

Ok. I see. Things are starting to sound like... I don't even know.

Elevator music?

I think it's just about worthy of being called good. I find quite a few songs on here (mildly) enjoyable.

I was going to give it a 3... but The New Machine parts i really didn't like.

And Sorrow bored me quite a lot.

Honestly I enjoyed listening to this more than The Final Cut, there's more to it imo. This basically sounds like The Wall mixed with their earlier stuff but without a lot of the brilliance/creativity, but there's still a lot of great guitarwork and singing to enjoy.

The Final Cut has so much more to it than this, I mean its one of the deepest most emotional things Roger ever wrote, this is just kinda nice at best.

The Final Cut was more boring than this but repeated listens might change my mind

I can't really hate this just because my knowledge of 80s music is abysmal. Probably if I had half of the discog of Toto, Duran Duran and Tears for Fears in my music library I'd loathe this as a bland rip-off but I'm not really in that position.

But then the most memorable thing here is 'the new machine' which is 1 minute long so I don't really know how to rate this.
