Oh.

Eh, I'll save my 5 for what is hopefully a really fucking awesome follow-up album. This has solid
tracks for damn sure, but the split just blew this out of the water.

haven't heard the split yet. used to be a huge fan of metalcore but i've been getting really bored with the genre lately, this however is a surprisingly superb album. nice mix of melodic hardcore and metalcore

I don't hear any rush influence on this album haha. But I'm sure they listen to rush because they're Canadian.

A very satisfying album. Goodbye, Megaton...

Listen to the song "Carpe Diem". Try and tell me they didn't sample the part of the movie "Dead Poet Society" where Robin Williams reads the Walt Whitman poem. Even the song name is something referenced in the movie! They can't slip that one by me...

Congratulations, you're mind-numbingly average.

Would have been more impressive if you'd actually read Whitman.

"because there has been so much shitty metalcore released recently, this is like a breath of fresh air."

So very true.

There are few metal-core bands that don't make me roll my eyes, unfortunately this isn't one of them.

I don't see how this can approach the level of Misery Signals' work, for example.

I'm kinda bummed, to be honest. Not so down with Victory. Oh well, Close Your Eyes is still aight and they're on Victory too..

No problem saying these guys are one of the tightest live bands around, they rocked the house. Not stoked on Voctory records though :/ All that touring with Shau Hulud though should keep them from selling out.

Lol, the whole album has one other Counterparts song, it's from the EP. Definitely check out Prophets though.

As for them signing to victory, yeah that kinda sucks mostly because they'll be touring with shit bands. But on the plus side victory is kind of a big label so they're gonna be more popular in the states.
