It's been a while since this come out maybe they've evolved over the last few years

Obviously its gonna be a wank/sweepfest at times but who knows maybe they'll add something, don't underestimate highly skilled musicians mate

the only skills they have are technical skills. i think my estimations about them are just fine.

Proficiency does no equate to musicianship imo. At this point they have a shtick and it looks like they are in no way going to part themselves from it.
