In my opinion, best ambient album of all time. Richard's unique, unorthodox approach to haunting soundscapes makes this record a tad above other ambient mastepieces. Often alienating and uneasy to listen, this album is a definition of a grower.

Bump cuz Rhubarb made me cry like a bitch yesterday. Still remains the greatest ambient song I've ever heard. I only wish he released more purely ambient stuff

For those that love Rhubarb, this orchestrated version is phenomenal:

I took me a long time to get into this album, but when I finally did to say it was a rewarding experience would be a pretty big understatement. It stands as my favorite ambient album ever.

If you're reading a good novel, have to study or are feeling tired or something maybe then you could put it on. Unless you simply don't like it, in which case you probably shouldn't waste your time with it. For me, however, it's magick.

I spent a while today watching the city from atop the largest building in the whole city, listening to 'Cliffs'

No love for the 2nd? It's got Blue Calx, Lichen, and Matchsticks, those are some serious jams.
