hated it at first, and now i love it. i came in hoping for somethin more like follow the reaper and was dissapointed first, but then it just grew on me and i cant stop listening to it now. best songs are probably living dead beat, we're not gonna fall, and are you dead yet?

I don't think it's poor, it's just different.

Give me 20 reasons why this band is classified as a POWER-METAL band. It sounds like pure melodic death metal to me.

Haha PIMP!

I like this CD, but its not as good as their old stuff.

In Your Face and If You Want Peace... Prepare For War are awsome songs, but the rest sort of fall short of their older shit to me. I'd still kiss Alexi if given the chance though.

Ive seen Black Label Society live, and im seeing Bodom tomorrow at Starland Ballroom in new jersey :-D, and from what ive seen and heard from Zakk Wylde and Alexi Laiho I can say that, in my opinion, Laiho is just as good as Wylde. Not on this album, but if you really give Follow the Reaper and Hatebreeder a listen, all the guitar work and solos especially are well thought out and are played just as well as Zakk in my opinion. Id still have gay sex with both of them though i love them so much

My friend saw these guys the other night and was amazed. These guys are one of the very few death/power metal bands I can constantly listen to. Just amazing, and a very enjoyable album.

Well I wouldn't go calling them death metal, but they're still awesome.

Great cd, they started to move away from the somewhat symphonic traditional black metal that they were. Although nothing beats FOLLOW THE REAPER!

Trashed, Lost And Strungout is probably the best track on here. And to the guy above, Alexi's vocals do take some getting used to...that is if you have the patience to tolerate them.
