There wouldn't be wars if the world leaders all sat down once a month and listened to this album.

Fleet Foxes, Mazzy Star, and Slowdive/MBV all came together to form a baby. That baby was Beach House's "Teen Dream." The only problem is that the above-mentioned bands could sweep you off your feet into the stars....Beach House just gets gets you a few inches off the ground.

Good, but I hope their next release is a bit more inventive.

Its pretty awesome. I've been there numerous times. Its in the middle of a forest so its secluded and shit, and theres a wood stage with seating all around it and a huge lawn behind that. Its all outdoors and its chill as shit. Saw The Dum Dum Girls (meh), Beach House (awesome), and Vampire Weekend (fap) there and while beach house played i laid back, lit up a cig and looked at the stars. I fell in love with them then and there. It truly is a magical place.

It gets weaker towards the end, best part is maybe first 5 or so tracks. It's getting hype and is good but not incredible. I prefer another soft pop record this year...jj's No3 album. This Beach House album has a nice production and the vocals are ok and that guides people's opinion alot nowadays, but I feel there is alot more filler on this than on the jj album and maybe a few annoying melodic ideas as well that repeat a bit too much in places.

So good, but not a classic.
