If I 4.5 this I have to 4.5 'Yankee' and then I feel like I'm getting too many 4.5's

Sunhouse has that magic gut punch feeling but this brings the pop euphoria like little else, but mixes it with the right level of melancholy.
It's ok Doof you can do it since both albums are classics (if very different beasts).

I'm in on it next. The prob is I've had 8 pints and I'm halfway through Quadrophenia.

Just saw your 3 for YHF zak which hurts but this draws much more from 60s power/psych/pop rock sounds, to be fair I heard this before I heard much music from that era and might not feel the same about this now but to my ears it's still got an insane run of hit after hit

Not their best but it's very close. This has some of my favourite Wilco songs.

It's a matter of mood for me. YHF is the more original and thought-provoking but this album had such a great nostalgic vibe and is just a songwriting masterclass.

Some perfectly written tunes here, for sure.
