I wish another song on here was as good as Fade Into You

I really don't need to listen to Mazzy Star when I can always listen to Trespassers William instead

trespassers william rules hard

if it came down to it though, i would say through the devil softly & among my swan are better than different stars

it's close though..

Yup, loved Halah too. On a second run through the first three.

Should I try the newest one too?

country music for people who don't like country music

(there's an awfully boring blues tune too in Wasted)

Fade Into You, Blue Light and Into Dust are all great. But that's it for me.

Country? What's country about this?

Quiite a lot, isn't? Slide guitars, acoustic guitars, pastoral rhythms, drawn out vocals... they do camouflage it with some of their particular traits or escape it altogether (t/t and mary of silence).

Nothing intrinsicaly bad about country, though. Mojave 3, a band that reminds me a lot of Mazzy Star, basically highlights the country aspects of MS sound and do some pretty good tunes with it.

"country music for people who don't like country music"

This feels bizarrely accurate, although more true for Among My Swan

Blue Light>Fade Into You

Those two are the only real fix you need here

''Slide guitars, acoustic guitars, pastoral rhythms, drawn out vocals.''
