yeah, couldn't see his shit because he was in a big stage set up, but he was definitely rocking ableton. Was he DJing as shpongle when you saw him?
And yeah lol he was fun to watch. Such a goofball.

Nope, just Simon sadly (I want to see a full setup someday though). Was a pretty badass show, so many different musical vibes; my favorite was
"My Head Feels Like A Frisbee," the Latin dance influence washed over everyone and the crowd loved it.

Dude yeah that song was probably my favorite part of the show (and definitely one of my fav shpongle
tracks overall).
But I meant was he touring under the shpongle name? It was just him at my show too - not a full band
or anything, but he stuck to shpongle stuff because it was a "Shpongle" show technically. JW if you
saw him when he was playing his hallucinogen stuff etc. in addition to shpongle stuff.

Yeah he was billed as Shpongle, but he is half of the band so I guess it works.
He stuck strightly to the Shpongle material, though he apparently does do tours as Younger Brother and Shpongle.

yeah i mean if Raja Ram was out there rocking his flute that would be sick haha but he's definitely the one who's more fitting for tour.

I really wanna buy Raja a drink and just sit back and listen to him tell stories, the man's gotta have tripped more than God

Haha yeah definitely. And if he wanted to play a fat tune on his flute too, that would just be okay.

It's how they get a lot of their track samples, Raja's random rambling while under the influence of some substance (can't find the interview at present).

The amount of people that don't enjoy listening to psychedelic music, but enjoy psychedelics, always astounds me.
Since you don't like it now I'm not sure how biased you'd be even under the influence of whatever drug(s) you desired.

What a crazy ass group !

honestly I prefer psychedelic music when stoned. As cliche as it sounds, I'm always overwhelmed with this sense of being in tune with feeling and emotion when I trip and so prefer more down to earth albums like Pink Floyd and such

Down to Earth. I see what you did there SpaceMan.

Yea, organic music is just so much more powerful. Electronic stuff just turns into a mess of oppresive beeps and boops. Better yet, absolute silence and darkness is the best way to trip.

Haha, I see where you're coming from, but you really have to be in the clouds to think Pink Floyd is a "down to earth" band.
This album is pretty rad, by the way.
