I have a bad feeling that a trio band in S.Korea(Apollo 18)
got somewhat influenced by Baroness,
and made Red album, Blue album and Violet album(what a lousy idea)
which are humiliating when comparing with this masterpiece.
Yet, dumb Koreans suck their asses as if the band members are genius.
And I can safely say it because I'm a Korean.
Though there are also great bands in Korea,
many of the independent lable bands tend to think themselves
and even fans think that those bands are special.
No, they're not.
Baroness is original, Apollo 18 sucks.

Great album. Bullheads Psalm, Steel That Sleeps The Eye, Blackpowder Orchard & Bullheads Lament are some really nice
song interludes.

I heard a lot of people say that these guys sound so much like Mastodon but after listening to their stuff a ton they really sound nothing a like at all.Sure maybe the riffs and vocals at times sound like old school Mastodon but for me Baroness have a lot more blues influence then Mastodon.Like both bands equally and to say they suck now because they aren't as heavy is stupid.Its called progression and sure many people would be complaining if they made another record that was in the same vein as older releases.Great album!
