This is what I expected. A lot of people thought the review was well written, even more didn't. What did I expect, I went after the second favorite metal album on this site.

What did I expect, I went after the second favorite metal album on this site.



It's not that you neg'ed the 2nd favourite metal album on this site, it's that you did it in such a childish way with nothing backing up your word + sloppy grammar. The people who said your review was well written were only trying to be nice. That does not excuse the fact that you should be rewriting this mess.

I backed my stuff up great, by telling you why I thought it sucked, which is exactly what you do in a review.
People aren't trying to be nice on this site, people NEVER try to be nice on this site. That being said, some people thought my review was good, and many didn't. And MANY of those that didn't were Opeth fanboys like you.

I agree, my review wasn't great, it doesn't need a lot of work, but compared to a lot of the reviews on this site, its not terrible. And nobody said, "Hey, its one of your first reviews, you'll get better" like they do for most other new people, they just bashed me because of my opinion.

Admit it, you hate my opinion and STRONGLY disagree with it The_Wizard. If I wrote JUST as good of a review with just as much practice giving this album a perfect 5, you'de say, "not bad, this is what you need to get better at".

Honestly, people said I should be banned from this site. Really? C'mon man, tell me what I need to work on, tell me why it sucked, SO I CAN GET BETTER.

Sound less like you're trying to make a point. I couldn't give a rats ass if you don't think this album is a classic. Your review, and your most recent post, have a very immature and non-objective tone. Like I said, it sounds like you're just trying to make a point. Whether that's your intent or not, to be fair I don't know, but it's all in the tone.

Review reminded me of the way you described the band. There's good there but its hidden.

It sounds very ranty in parts and words like "terrible" are over-used. There are some nice explanations but the ranty tone brings down the review in general.
Also calling Blackwater Park a horrible song is just plain musical blasphemy.
