I agree it's at least one of their best. Draconian Times is the best of the best by PL, imo.



I do enjoy "Symbol of Life" a lot, though, but more as an alternative rock than gothic metal album.

Very good album this but for me 'In Requiem' is the best of the recent stuff by PL.

This was the first album I heard by PL, so idk if that has an impact on my preference but I prefer this over Draconian Times. It might be my 2nd favourite though, the vocals sound kind of doucheous to me during some of the verses. I only liked Embers and Remembrance from Icon...

It's a lot like Icon, but with a more polished sound, and some songs are more in your face. Even the band admited they just explored the Icon ideas for DT.
