I don't find well thought out arguments rude at all.

and actually I might have to agree with you somewhat. I'm usually a fan when bands do crazy double albums because it means that they are at a creative high. Yet, I have always considered this album a complete mess. I think it because it has this experimental concept but has all these unfitting "pop" songs thrown in that mess things up. i.e. starfuckers get the hell outa of here.

i personally love the lyrics (most of the time) but yeah sometimes they can be a bit over the top. But i feel for the most part they fit the emotional nature of the song.

this albums a grower,

pretty sure i started out with it at a 3.5 too

I can't comprehend how you can consider RH and PF not poppy but see this as poppy. The tracks you mention on the previous page (Starfuckers, The Fragile, We're In This Together, Even Deeper) are all undoubtedly adventurous for someone who's only area of interest up to this point was various forms of industrial touched rock/metal. It's true that all of these tracks retain to some extent a pop structure, but that's also true of RH and PF (even on their most out-there albums), that's why your opinion seems inconsistent to me.

Even Deeper is a 'weird' one, never really had an impact on me, negative or positive, so I guess it's a dud in that sense, and t/t is amazing so fuck all y'all

Even though it's not really an album closer, The Great Below is tied with Hurt as the 2nd best NIN closer. Right where it belongs is first. I guess you could say, it's

RIGHT WHERE IT BELONGS
