That's a perfectly reasonable opinion.

I'll admit that both "Pictures of Home" and "Lazy" are fantastic jams on MH. Apart from the well-known "Highway Star" and "Smoke on the Water".

There's not a bad track on MH. Even the less known are awesome songs.

Led Zeppelin have always been my least favorite of the 3

Same here. They're legends agreed but I think it has to do with the fact that Purple and Sabbath were the first bands I really loved.

It has more to do with the fact I dont think they bring the m/ as much as Sabbath or Purple.

THEY DON'T

Plant has a nice voice, but Page's guitar doesn't sound as original as the classic-epic style of Blackmore or the dark riffs of Iommi... also, doesn't matter how great guitarist he is, we all have to accept that he stole most of his material

Yeah I know that he stole the material, still, he made with those riffs excelent tracks and members
like paul jones and Bonhan brought good ideas and legit stuff. Zeppelin wasn't only page, the 4
members were crucial for the sucess of the band

I've come to the conclusion that Zep was more of a rhythm band, whereas DP and Sabbath were more interesting when it came to guitar.

Dont forget keyboards for DP. Thats another reason I prefer them to Zep, because of the interplay between Blackmore and Lord, especially on this album. Zep never had that.

Yeah, the keayboards definitely made DP stand out amongst the 3.

Sabbath still reign above them all though

I think that the best keyboards on 70's metal were Rainbow's, but agree, Lord was god

Don't forget Uriah Heep man; Hensley was such a beast and so underrated as an artist. Atomic Rooster also produced some sweet sounds.

Yeah, but Uriah Heep have a long-ass discog. I think I've only heard one or two of their albums.
