KILL said: "yea thats fine but man it sounds good, and yea pretty much every modern album is gonna be compressed to fuck you can get kinda used to it but with headphones it gets irritating real fucking fast, then i put on moving pictures from 1981 and wonder where it all went wrong~"

these guys sure can write a song if with such predictable and monotonous riffs they get a 4.1 average... this would easily be a 4,5 for me if only they used slightly more drum transitions and alternate riff endings. they're all about the mood though, so other aspects have to suffer. countless skies is flawless though

"predictable and monotonous riffs"

really? I've always found them somewhat original, as much as you can be in modern melodeath that is. I agree with that part about alternate riff endings and transitions, they could've played with that a bit more

damn, outros here rule so much

Damn this really gets better over time. Hard to believe I had this at a 3.5 about a month ago.

Agreed. Once you hit the one minute mark in that track, its just full throttle there on in.

Check out the band Countless Skies btw. Blatant Be'lakor worship, if the title didn't give it away, but they're actually even better than Be'lakor. They pull off that dynamics and variety thing that Be'lakor lacks. I'm not sure if their songs are quite as good as Countless Skies itself, but they're a notch above most other Be'lakor songs actually
